Can you believe that we are just a few weeks away from the start of the season? It's coming fast and the Lady Rangers are preparing and working hard each and everyday. It's going to be an amazing season. Here are some updates and reminders on upcoming events and schedules.

As we are winding down the Fall club season and entering the HS season, it is very important that you are taking care of yourselves. Make healthy choices in what you eat and drink, as well as get enough sleep. Being an athlete and being disciplined in your choices and habits is a vital aspect of taking care of yourselves both physically and mentally and helping to avoid illness.
Over the next few weeks we would like to take a moment to give back to the school and community. We would like for each Lady Ranger to take a moment to write a note or letter to a teacher that has had a significant impact on your life. Please take the time to hand deliver, take a picture, shake a hand or give a hug, and say Thank you, when giving them the letter. You have no idea the impact this has on our teachers.
30 Minutes of Service around Vista Ridge- What can you do to improve our school? Can you help with student morale? Can you assist the teachers, custodians, or admin? Find ways to invest in Vista and make it "Best for the World!"
1 hour of Community Service- Our Community is amazing and we need to continue to contribute to that. Without our Community support we would not be able to have many of the great things we have become accustomed to. Need some ideas on Community service? Look for some Volunteer opportunities. Ask our sponsors if they need help with anything. There are lots of opportunities out there for you to give back.
Small Group Activities:
Just because one season has come to an end, doesn't mean our support for Vista Ridge athletics needs to. Our VB team had an Amazing season and made the playoffs. Our football team finished their season last Friday, and our Girls Cross Country team competed at State where they finished 14th. It's been a great start to the year, but now it's time to switch our support to the next Ranger teams, whose seasons are about to start.
Tuesday Night Girls Basketball has a home game vs Pflugerville.
Friday Boys basketball vs Leander
Also continue to get together outside of school and go get some smoothies, or coffee and enjoy hanging out together. I've heard this is the pumpkin spice season so there's that.
Booster Club Update:
Upcoming BC/parent meeting on Wednesday, December 7th at 6 pm in the Athletic Study Hall.
Received an email that items from the Team Store that were ordered are being shipped, so hopefully this week.
Also yard signs and car decals will be coming home with the Lady Rangers this week. Let's get those decals on the cars and signs in the yard, because nothing looks better than seeing Lady Ranger Supporters all over community.
