Week in Review-
And We're off! What a tremendous First week to the 2024 Season! When we said the games were going to come fast n furious we weren't joking.
JV finished the week going 2-2 with Wins over San Marcos and Seguin JVs had losses to Hutto and Alamo Heights. The girls played well in every game and will only continue to grow and improve.
Varsity got off to a tremendous start with Victories over Hutto, San Marcos, and Gregory Portland, and an extremely well deserved draw with Alamo Heights as the fought back from deficits of 0-2 and 3-1 to get the 3-3 Draw. Very Excited to see what this team can achieve this season.
The Week Ahead
Monday-
Student Holiday- NO PRACTICE- Lady Rangers use this time to recoup from a busy first week and rest for the upcoming School week with Games and Tournaments.
Tuesday-
Games at Leander HS- Bible Stadium
JV 5:30
Varsity 7:15
Teams will wear ALL WHITE
Ticket link to purchase tickets will go live on Tuesday Morning and a link will be sent out through SportsYou.
Wednesday-
B Day - Recovery Day
Varsity will meet in P4 during the soccer period for Film and Tournament Preparations.
JV will meet in BSH with Coach Kleist - (More Information to come)
Thursday-
It's Tournament Time- Varsity will be at the Midway Classic/ JV at the Hungry Hippo Showcase in Hutto. (Detailed Tournament information will be listed below)
JV vs Johnson at Hutto 9th Grade Center 1:45 pm
JV will wear Red Uniforms
Will eat A lunch and leave at 12:30
Varsity vs Cy Fair at Midway HS (Grass Field next to Stadium) 3 pm
Varsity will wear White Tops/Sock & Red Shorts
Will be dismissed after 2nd period.
Bus will leave 12:30
Friday-
JV will be dismissed from classes all day as they have 2 games. Please communicate with your teachers regarding class work.
JV Bus will depart at 8:30 am
JV vs TBD at Hutto HS 10 am Game 1
JV will wear White Socks/Tops and Black Shorts
JV vs TBD at Hutto HS 12:30 Pm Game 2
JV will wear All Black
Varsity will be dismissed from classes all day as they have 2 games. Please communicate with your teachers regarding class work.
Varsity bus will depart at 8:30 am
Varsity vs Granbury 11 am Midway Stadium. Game 1
Varsity will wear ALL Black
Varsity vs Midway 5 pm at Midway Stadium Game 2
Varsity will wear White Tops/Socks and Black Shorts
Saturday-
No Games for JV
Varsity 1 pm Midway Stadium (Pending results from Group Games on Thursday/Friday)
Bus will depart at 10 am if in the Championship Game.

Lastly a few thoughts:
It's Cedar Fever Season- If you struggle with Allergies and take medication, please, please, please drink lots of water as we do not want you getting dehydrated with this many games in a week.
Please get more sleep than you normally get. Turn your phones off and go to bed. Nothing is better for you than sleep during this busy time. Sleeping on the bus is not the same as a good night's rest.
Make good food choices. You will perform better and feel better.
Be prepared. Plan ahead, pack ahead, know the weather. Preparation is key.
Control the controllable. Do not worry about things out of your control. Stay mentally focused and engaged in everything that you do.
And take this time to reflect and appreciate these games, rides, and times with your teammates. Take lots of pictures. Share lots of laughs. Sing at the top of your lungs. These are going to be some of the best memories of your life. Enjoy them and Enjoy them with the people you are closest to. They go by way too fast.
