Week in Review-
Texas Winter weather was in Full Force this past week. Tuesday and Wednesday saw us start school late and reschedule a game due to the frigid temperatures, followed by practice on Thursday in shorts and t-shirts in the 70s, and then a chilly, windy District opener to end the week on Friday.
Friday saw two very good performances by the Lady Rangers. In the Varsity opener, the Lady Rangers defeated Cedar Ridge 2-0, with goals by Brecken Rider and Leah Drake. A very solid performance that gets us off on the right foot heading towards the playoffs.
The JV Lady Rangers had a terrific game in the night cap, winning 4-0 with goals by Aubrey, Juliette, and Gabi.
Both teams look to continue their strong performances as we head in to Week 2 of District Action.
Student Athletes in Action
The 3rd Six weeks saw the Lady Rangers absolutely Killing it in the Classroom.
100% Passing Rate for the 3rd Six Weeks
11 student athletes on the A/B Honor Roll.
31 Lady Rangers with Straight A's.

The Week Ahead-
Monday
A Day- Ranger Red 2:30-4:30
Forecast of rain so we need to be flexible- Could be out in the rain (bring Rain gear or Could be in the gym - Have flat shoes) Either way we are working out so be prepared.
Tuesday
Game at McNeil (Rain is in the forecast so we need to be prepared. We also need to be flexible as Admin will make changes if necessary. Watch for announcements on SportsYou to stay up to date.
Game Day Attire- Travel sweats- No Parkas if Raining- Use Red Jackets and Rain Jackets
Uniforms- White Tops/ Red Shorts/ White Socks
JV Bus will leave at 4:15
Varsity Team Pre-game in BSH 5:45
Bus will leave at 6:00
Wednesday
A Day - White
Ranger during the period only- No After School Practice
*If Games on Tuesday are cancelled due to inclement weather then
Varsity only will be played at 5:30 at McNeil. Bus would leave at 4:15.

Game Day Meal Order Links will be sent out on SportsYou on Monday and Thursday. Orders must be received by 8 am on Game Day. We apologize for the missing items ordered from Chick Fil A. They have already given us a credit for the next time we order from them.
A Final Word-
The most important game of the season is Tuesday night. Not because of who the opponent is but because it is the next game on the schedule. In fact it's important that we only focus on one game at a time. Focus on our preparation for this game and this opponent. Amazing things happen when you focus, plan, and prepare for the task at hand. Good things are happening but let's stay in the moment and not get ahead of ourselves. Today is the day, so let's enjoy it.
