Lady Ranger Round Up Week of 8/26-30

Week in Review

This past week saw us spend the week indoors as the TEXAS HEAT was just a little more than we could bare. We got some good work in done in the weight room, had an opportunity to build on our foot skills, and had some fun playing a little Futsal. It was disappointing we did not get to have Rally at the Ridge but plans to reschedule are in the works.

As part of our Summer Fitness Assessment about half of the Lady Rangers were able to complete their 2 mile Fitness Run at the Vista Ridge Cross Country Invitational on Friday. Super proud of these Lady Rangers for getting out and running and representing Vista Ridge.

The Week Ahead

Monday A Day - Red

Tuesday B Day - Black

Wednesday A Day- Grey

Thursday B Day - Black

Friday A Day- Red

Reminder-

You will need Indoor/Running Shoes and Soccer Cleats Everyday-

We will start in BSH for attendance then immediately go to the WR on MWF & then finish at Ranger.

Tuesday & Thursday we will have Study Hall Time and then go to the Grass Fields.

The Forecast looks like we will be able to get outside this week. Make sure you bring Water Bottles Every DAY!

Parents-

Monday Night is Open House at Vista Ridge. We will not be using this time as our "Parent Meeting."

This will simply be a meet and greet and I will be available to answer any questions you may have. I will be located in Portable 4 which is on the the South Side of Vista Ridge at the back of the school. Your daughter's schedule will show Soccer 4th and 8th. (No need to come by twice)

We will have our Beginning of the Year Parent Meeting and Booster Club Meeting at 5:30 on September 4th in the Big Study Hall.

Agenda

  • Meet the Coaches

  • Team Policies and Guidelines

  • Player & Parent Expectations

  • 2025 Season Schedule

Final Word-

Now that we have the school started and we have our feet under us a little bit, I hope everyone is ready for what has the potential to be an AMAZING 2024-25 Season.

We are going to work, we are going to struggle, we are going to celebrate, & we are going to move FORWARD.
