Lady Ranger Round Up Week of 11/11-15

Week in Review

Another Great Week of the Lady Rangers as we continued preparations for the upcoming season. It was a short week as The Lady Rangers focused on passing patterns, fitness, and futsal this week. Pre-season is goes into full effect as we only have 2 weeks of preparation left before our Season Begins.

Let's Celebrate

This week we get the opportunity to celebrate Seniors Julia Ramsey, Lily Vandiver, and Alexis Morrison as they sign their letters of Intent to continue playing soccer in college. Julia will be signing with Mary Hardin Baylor in Belton. Lily will be attending the University of North Texas in Denton. Alexis will be signing to play at Texas Lutheran in Seguin.

Everyone is invited to the ceremony this Wednesday morning at 7:30 in the Big Study Hall.

Congratulations to these Amazing Lady Rangers on their achievements and we look forward to their Senior years and future endeavors.

As with anything if there are conflicts or known absences please communicate those with the coaches as soon as possible.

Finally-

This is a unique time in a soccer players journey. Fall club season is coming to an end and bodies are tired after a competitive season. At the same time, high school season is ramping up and fitness requirements are increasing to prepare for the season.

During this time there are some essentials that must be adhered to ;

  1. Communication- you must communicate with coaches about injuries, ailments, knicks, and knocks. We need to treat what we can and prevent overuse so as to allow your bodies time to heal and be prepared for the season.

  2. Nutrition- you must be eating properly and hydrating daily. A diet of Takis and Red Bull is horrible for your health (Both mentally and physically).

  3. REST- please be disciplined in your sleep routines. Procrastinating on completing homework until 2 in the morning or scrolling Tik-Toks in the middle of the night can have a negative impact on your ability to be your best.

The Greatest show of Love you can have for yourself is to lead a disciplined life style. Y'all are amazing young ladies and we truly want you to have much success. Be committed to your academics. Be committed to practicing and improving on your own outside of practice. Be committed to your teammates. And Lastly be committed to living the best life you can lead.

It's going to be a great year!

Let's Go Lady Rangers!
