The Week in Review
The Final Week of the season was a joyous celebration of a great Season. The Lady Ranger JVs and Varsity dropped matches to Vandegrift and Round Rock in the last two District contests.
Losses are never enjoyable, but the Lady Rangers played well and competed valiantly in both contests. Soccer is a funny game sometimes, because teams are not always rewarded with a just result. Sometimes a tie feels like a win and sometimes a tie feels like a loss. Even though all losses feel bad, we know that in both games, the Lady Rangers did some really great things and competed well against the #7 team in the State on Friday night in some adverse wind conditions.
The best part of the week was qualifying for the 2024 State Playoffs. Qualifying is the culmination of a great District Season and not just the results from our Final few games.

It's Spring Break- Enjoy some well earned Time Off.
We might have an Open Field/Weight Room session on Friday for anyone in town wanting to get some touches and some lifting in. This will not be a mandatory practice, just an opportunity for anyone around.

Here are the Standings for our B-District Opponents. They are a 9 team District and still have 2 games left to play.

Johnson plays Lake Travis on Tuesday the 19th
Anderson finishes with Bowie on the 22nd.
We most likely will not know our opponent until Friday, March 22, after our Weiss game.

We did it, and we deserve a little break.
A lot of very good and talented teams, all across the state will be staying home, and not participating in the fourth and Final stage of the season. It has been a great year so far, but I'm not ready for it to end yet. We have competed with some of the best teams in the State. We are right there and we should go into every game knowing that we absolutely deserve to be there, and we absolutely have as good a chance as anyone. One Game At A Time.
