Lady Ranger Round Up 12/11-15

Week in Review

What a Week! Can you believe it? Soccer Season is like a Fast N Furious Drag Race.. One day you're excited about the start of the season and the next your looking back after completing 3 scrimmages and thinkging, we have another game Tuesday? Yep it's here and the train is a rolling.

We had some beautiful weather this week for our trainings and scrimmages. Here is hoping we have another good week of weather for our practices and scrimmages. Please stay informed by checking SportsYou for updates and notifications. We do not scrimmage in inclement weather so please keep an eye out for any potential changes.

Thank you all for being flexible with the Liberty Hill Scrimmage on Friday. They were very appreciative of us accommodating the time switch as many of their players and parents were able to make the trip to Cypress to attend their State Semi final football playoff game.

Games were intense and competiive and our Lady Rangers performed well. Scrimmages are not about results but rather about oportunities and evaluations. I really liked how well we competed and we have a great foundation from which to build and grow on.

Blue Santa Saturday

Thank you Thank you Thank you

I can not express enough how appreciative I am about your support and participation with our Blue Santa Community Toy Drive.

This is by far our largest Community Service event of the year for our program. We were blessed with great weather, great attendance, and great participation. I feel so honored being a part of a program and part of a community that understands what selfless giving is all about and how that impacts the lives of others. We collected just over 900 toys for children and I know that the Leander Police Department was super grateful and appreciative of our efforts. Thank you to all of you.

This is the grass field, not the new stadium with turf.

Thank you to our Lady Ranger Booster Club for providing us with 4 SportsPods that we can use on the sideline during cold and inclement weather games, some pretty awesome Swag Tags for our bags, and these Stadium blankets that Bridgette Ramsey was able to create for everyone.

The cool stadium blankets are wind and water resistant, but also have a zipper that allows you to put a quilt, comforter, or sleeping bag inside of them for extra warmth and comfort. These are the Stadium blankets that everyone who signed up to be a Booser Club member will receive on Tuesday.

Booster Club Fundraiser-

We are in the closing two weeks of our Largest Fundraiser of the year. This fundraiser helps support our end of the year Banquet, End of year Awards, Team Bonding and Dinners during Tournament season and so much more. If you have not done so already could everyone please make sure they have all of their contacts listed and input for our Fundraiser. This is vital to the operations of Lady Ranger Soccer.

And Finally,

One of the things we are focusing on this year is controlling the controllables. We can not control the weather. We can not control the other team. We can not control the Referees and their decisions, but we can control our Effort and we can control our attitudes. I want to encourage everyone to bring a great attitude and effort every single day, in everything that you do. It will make all the difference in the world in how this season goes for us.

Let''s Go Lady Rangers!
